ESR’s CryoBoost Foldable 3-in-1 Charging Station is a great Apple gadget accessory for trips

Yesterday I reviewed ESR’s CryoBoost 3-in-1 Charging Station and noted it was the best desktop/nightstand charge for multiple devices. 

Seems the company’s US$99.99 CryoBoost Foldable 3-in-1 Charging Station (25W) is the best foldable 3-in-1 charger I’ve run across. You can use it to juice up your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods — and even a Mac (more on that below).

The winner of the 2025 Red Dot Design Award is a slim, foldable charger (just 15.8 mm when folded) that delivers near-wired-speed power. It charged my iPhone 17 Max to 50% in just under 30 minutes. As I mentioned with the CryoBoost 3-in-1 Charging Station, I’ve never had issues with such charges overheating, but if you have, you’ll be happy to hear that ESR says all its products cool “quietly and efficiently.” A built-in fan is designed to cool your smartphone to prevent overheating while charging 

The CryoBoost Foldable 3-in-1 is great for taking on trips. It folds and unfolds into a fully adjustable stand (0°–75°) for viewing angles for phone calls or media playback. The MagSafe connection is strong and secure, ensuring your gadgets stay in place while charging.

The ESR charger has a metal bottom plate for stability and the excellent build quality means the device is durable and strong. An extra bonus: it comes with a 50W adapter that’s powerful enough to charge a MacBook. 

This portable $99.99 Qi2 3-in-1 wireless charger with CryoBoost Foldable 3-in-1 is compatible with the iPhone 12 series and later (except the iPhone SE, mini series, and iPhone 16e), AirPods (Pro 2, Pro 3, and AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation), and all Apple Watch models. It also works with, as best I can tell, all MagSafe compatible iPhone cases. 

If you’re taking a trip with multiple Apple devices, you need to add this to your must-have accessory list. And it’s great for home use, as well.
