Apple is working on a vapor chamber to improve cooling and performance in an iPad Pro slated for as early as 2027, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says in his new “Power On” newsletter.
He adds that we’ll likely to see this feature in next year’s iPad Pro update with the M5 processor. The liquid cooling system would help mitigate throttling, especially as the iPad Pro becomes more capable at handling intense workflows.

Speaking of the iPad Pro, last week Gurman said that the rumored 18-inch foldable version of the tablet has been delayed to at least 2029. And then it will likely cost around US$3,000.
