Rumor: ‘Apple Glasses’ will have both external and internal OLED displays

The rumored “Apple Glasses” — Apple’s augmented reality/mixed reality headset — will pack separate internal and external displays that use different display technologies, according to The Elec.

The report says LG Display started developing OLEDs earlier for Apple, but has recently begun developing LED’s technology, as well.

The company’s OLEDs are expected to be used externally in the first model of Apple Glasses, while the OLEDs inside the device will be supplied by Sony, according to The Elec.
