Rumor: next gen iPhone SE will be priced at no more than $499

According to leaker Revegnus on X, the U.S. launch price of a fourth-generation iPhone SE will either remain at the same US$429 starting price as the current model, or will see an increase of around 10%.

According to leaker Revegnus on X, the U.S. launch price of a fourth-generation iPhone SE will either remain at the same US$429 starting price as the current model, or will see an increase of around 10%. Even if the price increases, the maximum target is purportedly to stay within $499.

Speaking of a next gen iPhone SE, according to a February 9 tweet by Apple leaker MajinBuOfficial it could have a design very similar to that of the current iPhone 16 still in development.

“The new iPhone SE will most likely have a single camera instead of the double one of the iPhone 16 models, otherwise it seems that the dynamic island is confirmed, and the dimensions are similar to those of an iPhone XR,” according to the tweet.

And, as far as a future iteration of the iPhone goes, last August a leaker known as “Unknownz21“ claims a fourth-generation iPhone SE will have an iPhone 15 Pro-style Action Button. He said that it will also likely sport a USB-C port.
