Apple MapsiOS 13 brought new features to the Maps app, including Collections for sharing favorite restaurants, travel destinations or places to shop with friends, and Favorites for navigating to frequent destinations, such as home, work, the gym or school.

With iOS 17, you can download and use offline Maps. This means you can You can save an area for use in the Maps app so you can refer to it even when your iPhone is offline.

° Tap your picture or initials next to the search field, then tap Offline Maps.

° Tap Download New Map, then enter a location in the search field, or tap My Location.

Any maps you download appear in the downloaded maps list.

  3. Change the area covered by a map: Tap the map’s name, then tap Resize on the image of the map.
