Petition asks Amazon to allow libraries to purchase its digital books

Former Apple exec Angela Ahrendts is new chair of the board for Save the Children International

<p class="">Save the Children International <a href="https://www.savethechildren.org/us/about-us/media-and-news/2020-press-releases/angela-ahrendts-new-board-chair-of-save-the-children-international" target="_blank" rel="noopener">has announced</a> that former Apple exec, Angela Ahrendts, has been appointed as the new chair of its Board of Trustees. Apple’s head of Global Security charged with bribery for CCW licenses

<p class="">A grand jury has issued <a href="https://www.sccgov.org/sites/da/newsroom/newsreleases/Documents/2020NRDocs/CCW%20Indictments%20-%20Sung.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">two indictments </a>charging the Santa Clara County Undersheriff, a previously indicted sheriff’s captain, a local business owner, and the head of Global Security for Apple, with bribery, <a href="https://www.sccgov.org/sites/da/newsroom/newsreleases/Pages/NRA2020/CCW-Undersheriff-Sung-.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to the Santa Clara Office of the District Attorney.</p>

PSA: here’s an issue I’ve found with Apple One and Family Sharing

<p class="">Starting Oct. 30, you could begin signing up for the Apple One bundle of services. I did so with the idea of consolidating the individual services to which I subscribed (Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple News+, and Apple Arcade) into one package and setting up Family Sharing. But, to says the least, it’s not going as smoothly as I’d like.</p>
