<p>Twelve South has released a new model of its <a target="_blank" href="https://www.twelvesouth.com/product/bookarc-for-macbook-pro-retina" rel="noopener noreferrer">BookArc</a> — which allows you to run your setup from the power of your Mac laptop while in closed clamshell mode — that supports the 2016 MacBook Pros. It’s a great product — except that it means you’re unable to use one of the laptop’s most heralded features: the Touch Bar.</p>

<p>In macOS Sierra’s Safari, you can enable Quick Website Search if you wish. Many websites offer their own integrated engine that allows you to search content within the site itself.</p>

<p>A new file-encrypting ransomware program for macOS is being distributed through BitTorrent websites, and users who fall victim to it won’t be able to recover their files, even if they pay, reports <a target="_blank" href="http://www.macworld.com/article/3173151/security/new-macos-ransomware-spotted-in-the-wild.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">Macworld</a>.</p>

<p>If you have a LG UltraFine 5K display that has shielding issues and want it fixed, be prepared to go several days without an external display. After you contact <a target="_blank" href="http://www.lg.com/us/support" rel="noopener noreferrer">LG support</a> and enter lots of info, you’ll be emailed a shipping label to return the monitor for repair.</p>

<p>iOS 10 is now installed on 79% of active iOS devices, according to the <a target="_blank" href="https://developer.apple.com/support/app-store/" rel="noopener noreferrer">latest adoption data</a> shared by Apple. Sixteen percent are using iOS 9 and 5% are using an earlier version.</p>

<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.flexihub.com" rel="noopener noreferrer">Flexihub</a> is new macOS compatible software that lets you use any number of USB devices as you wish. It allows you to share a USB port from your old Mac or other computers and access them on — for instance — your laptop.</p>

<p>Jumsoft has introduced Social Media Lab 1.0, its new template app for Apple’s Pages app. It offers items in four major categories.</p>

<p>Apple says that Apple Park, the company’s new 175-acre campus, will be ready for employees to begin occupying in April. The process of moving more than 12,000 people will take over six months, and construction of the buildings and parklands is scheduled to continue through the summer.</p>

<p>Apple’s shares traded above $136.74 in intraday trading on Tuesday before closing at an all-time high of $136.70. The company's market cap stood at $719.19 billion at the end of trading yesterday.</p>

<p>Apple has “quietly” taken over ownership of iCloud.net, <a target="_blank" href="https://techcrunch.com/2017/02/21/apple-quietly-bought-icloud-net-domain-shuts-down-eponymous-social-network/" rel="noopener noreferrer">TechCrunch</a> reports. Previously, the Internet domain belonged to a small-time Asian social network site; however, it’s telling its users that it will be shutting down by the end of this month.</p>

<p>I'm not sure how often this actually happens, but there <a target="_blank" href="http://www.businessinsider.com/macbook-webcam-spy-hack-2013-12" rel="noopener noreferrer">have been reports</a> that hackers can use your computer's webcam to watch you, including the FaceTime camera on Macs. The simplest solution is to cover the camera with a sticker. However, that's not ideal for aesthetic reasons. Plus, it could leave residue behind. </p>
