<p>In a note to clients — as noted by <a target="_blank" href="https://www.macrumors.com" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>MacRumors</em></a> — KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo doesn’t think we’ll see a second generation iPhone SE this year, as Apple puts its resources into three new smartphones in the pipeline that <a target="_blank" href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2018/1/23/analyst-lower-end-61-inch-iphone-for-2018-will-cost-700-800" rel="noopener noreferrer">he's forecasting</a>. He writes: </p>

<p>Immersion Corp., a developer and licensor of touch feedback technology, has announced that it’s entered into settlement and license agreements with Apple, the terms of which are confidential.</p>

The drop reportedly follows lower-than-expected holiday sales for the premium iPhone. </p>
