<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">“Sign in with Apple” — which will be available on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and the web — was announced Monday during Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference. However, some folks are griping about one of Apple’s requirements. And the tech giant really wants developers to give it top priority.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">A note at the Apple Developer <a href="https://developer.apple.com/augmented-reality/arkit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">webpage</a> says advanced features in ARKit 3 will be limited to devices with A12 Bionic chips or better.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">According to a <a href="https://twitter.com/steven_aquino/status/1136059652771201024" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">tweet from reporter Steven Aquino</a>, mouse/pointer support works on both iOS 13 and iPadOS via USB and Bluetooth. However, “this feature is not really designed for old school cursor support like some think” he adds.</p>

Which bodes well for Apple’s move to <a href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2019/6/3/macos-catalina-breaks-up-itunes-will-add-sidecar-and-more" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">break up iTunes</a> into three separate apps — Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple TV — in this fall’s macOS Catalina.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple wants to make it easier to find the proper images for use with emoji, Animoji, and Memoji. The tech giant has been granted a patent (number 10,311,144) for “emoji word sense disambiguation.”</p>

Two iOS developers <a href="https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.hbsslaw.com%2Fcases%2Fapple-ios-app-developers&esheet=51993569&newsitemid=20190604005763&lan=en-US&anchor=hit+Apple+with+a+class-action+lawsuit&index=1&md5=ef73a2d8754385211423e526e01caa06" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">hit Apple with a class-action lawsuit</a> claiming the tech giant has cornered the iOS app market with its App Store and knowingly used its monopoly to implement “profit-killing” commissions and fees on the very developers who bring Apple’s products to life, according to attorneys at Hagens Berman.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Let the Apple Car rumors continue to roll. Apple has been granted a patent (number 10,309,132) for a “passenger vehicle and door structure.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Great minds think alike. In a <a href="https://appleworld.dreamhosters.com/blog/2019/6/4/where-are-the-apple-displays-for-the-rest-of-us" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">blog post today,</a> I asked, “Where are the Apple displays for the rest of us?” Now there’s a new petition asking Apple to “make an affordable Mac external display.”</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">I was really hoping for a new Apple display that could be used with Apple’s Mac laptops and the 2018 Mac mini would debut at the Worldwide Developer Conference. It didn’t.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple hit it out of the park at yesterday’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote. macOS 10.15? Check. iOS 13? Check. tvOS 13? Check. watchOS 6? Check. New Mac Pro and new Apple display? Check.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The “cheese grater” Mac Pro is back. Or at least its descendant is. To the delight of pro users, Apple introduced the all-new <a href="https://www.apple.com/mac-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mac Pro</a>, a completely redesigned workstation for pros at today’s Worldwide Developer Conference. It also unveiled the <a href="https://www.apple.com/pro-display-xdr/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple Pro Display XDR</a>, which I have to admit is pricier than I anticipated.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">At today’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote, Apple gave us a sneak peak at the upcoming <a href="https://www.apple.com/macos/catalina-preview/">macOS Catalina</a>, the latest version of its desktop operating system. The upgrade will replace iTunes with Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple TV apps.</p>
