Apple has been granted a patent (number 20190064936) for an “adjustable handheld stylus.” The tech giant notes that styluses are available in a variety of shapes and sizes that are each intended to satisfy certain user preferences. However, while some shapes and sizes are advantageous for certain purposes, the same shapes and sizes can be less desirable for other purposes. </p>

Apple Watch maintained first position with 51% global smartwatch marketshare, while Samsung jumped to second place, overtaking Fitbit and Garmin.</p>

Apple confirms ‘Project Titan’ layoffs

Most recently, that included standing her ground against an Arizona town marshal, according to <a href="https://deadline.com/2019/02/hilde-lysiak-journalist-apple-series-latest-scoop-1202563511/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>Deadline</em></a>.</p>

Patent trollin’: Optis Wireless Tech sues Apple for patent infringement

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Another day, another lawsuit. As reported by<em> </em><a href="https://appleinsider.com/articles/19/02/26/apples-iphone-ipad-more-targeted-in-new-lawsuit-over-lte-patents" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>AppleInsider</em></a>, a group of firms operating under the name Optis Wireless Technology are suing Apple over seven patents connected to LTE cellular standards.</p>

Apple granted another patent involving ‘Apple Glasses,’ AR on the iPhone

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple is expected to debut “Apple Glasses,” an augmented reality/virtual reality head-mounted display (HMD), perhaps as early as next year. And the company has been granted another patent (number 10,217,288) dubbed “methods for representing points of interest in a view of a real environment on a mobile device.” The patent could also apply to AR features on an iPhone or iPad.</p>

Apple patent involves 3D scanning and gesture-based interfaces

<p style="white-space:pre-wrap;">You may one day be able to control your Mac — and perhaps your Apple TV — by gestures. Apple has been granted yet another patent (number 10,218,963) for a “gesture-based user interface” that hints at gesture controls for Macs. This one is dubbed “scanning projectors and image capture modules for 3D mapping.”</p>
