Analyst: Apple TV+ faces a difficult path

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Every time Apple announces something new, there’s always forecasts that it will fail. Now the <a href="http://www.strategyanalytics.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Strategy Analytics research group</a> says the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ SVOD service, coming this fall, “may not give the giant from Cupertino the momentum that it is looking for.”</p>

One in three smartwatches sold is an Apple Watch

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Global smartwatch shipments grew a healthy rate of 48% year-on-year in quarter one of 2019 driven by Apple, Samsung, Fitbit, and Huawei, according to the latest research from Counterpoint’s <a href="https://report.counterpointresearch.com/posts/report_view/iot/1201" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Global Smartwatch Tracker</a>. And approximately one out of every three smartwatches sold is an Apple Watch.</p>

Apple Music falls from first to fifth position in ‘Brand Intimacy 2019 Study’

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The apps and social platforms industry ranked 10th out of the 15 studied in MBLM's <a href="https://c212.net/c/link/?t=0&l=en&o=2452294-1&h=1507599577&u=http%3A%2F%2Fmblm.com%2Flab%2Fbrandintimacy-study%2F&a=Brand+Intimacy+2019+Study" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Brand Intimacy 2019 Study</a>, which is the largest study of brands based on emotions, rising two spots since 2018. Last year's leader, Apple Music, fell to the #5 position.</p>

Apple reportedly told lawmakers that folks will hurt themselves trying to fix iPhones

Apple’s Carnegie Library store to open May 11
