<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Case•Mate has rolled out a new collection of cases for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Case. All costs $40 and offer 10-foot drop protection.  I’ve had a chance to play around with several models.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">The non-beta version of iPadOS debuted yesterday; the first true operating system for the Apple tablet (though it’s a tweak of iOS 13) is a winner, though it still won’t convince some folks such as myself to replace their laptop with an iPad or iPad Pro. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple Antara opens Friday at 5 p.m. (local time)  in the heart of Mexico City’s Polanco district. Opening amid museums, cultural landmarks and premier shopping, the store will welcome customers through 23-foot-tall sliding glass doors.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple hasn’t introduced (at least not yet) a new Apple TV set-top box, but thejust-released tvOS 13 can make your current Apple TV (as along as its an Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K) feel new thanks to features such as: an immersive new Home screen; multi-user support for customers to access their own TV shows, movies, music and recommendations; support for Apple Arcade; expanded game controller support; and new 4K HDR screen savers.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;"><a href="https://www.pelican.com/us/en/products/phone-and-tablet-cases/iphone-cases" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Pelican Products</a> has added four new cases for the iPhone. As I often say in these reviews, there’s little new under the sun in smartphone cases, but Pelican’s products are well made, cost effective, and reliable. I’ve tested the cases with an iPhone 11 Pro Max.</p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In a note on its Developer Portal, <a href="https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=09232019a" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple says</a> that starting in October, the Japan Consumption Tax (JCT) will increase from 8% to 10%, resulting in a price increase for apps on the App Store and in-app purchases (excluding auto-renewable subscriptions) in Japan. </p>

<p class="" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Apple has updated iMovie and Clips on iOS with Dark Mode support and more. Both are free downloads/updates on the Apple App Store.</p>
