The US$64.95 MoFT Carry Sleeve for 13-inch and 14-inch laptops is available for pre-order and will ship in September. Apple World Today got an advance unit; we were impressed.
It’s like having three accessories in one: the protection of a sleeve, the ergonomics of a stand, and the carry-on essentials of a storage bag.
Available in a variety of hues, the carry sleeve has an “invisible stand” with height adjustments (in two or three inch increments) so you can adjust the angle that’s best for what you’re doing with your laptop. For example, I find an angle of 15° good for typing, while a 25° angle is great for web browsing.
The Carry Sleeve also has an expandable neoprene storage integrated into the sleeve. It can hold items like power adapters, cell phones, notepads, and more. However, if you stuff too much into it, it makes the carry case unwieldy.
The MoFT is handsome. It’s made with customized PU material that’s vegan-friendly and relatively slim. And it feels like it should be durable, though only time will tell. But I have no hesitation in recommending this as an excellent laptop accessory.
