ESR’s Xtend is a compact, useful retractable charger for two devices.

ESR’s Xtend Retractable Charger (US$42.99) is a compact, useful 45W retractable charger with a built-in 3.1-foot cable.

It’s made to juice up Apple devices at any time. And with its slim design, it’s great for taking with you on-the-go.

perfect for travel, bedside, and everyday use. supports PD 3.2 It offers fast charging across compatible USB-C devices, including MacBook Pro/Air (2025–2020), iPad Pro/Air/iPad (2025–2020), iPhone 12 series and later (including 17e and 16e), Apple Watch Series 11-7, SE, Ultra 2/Ultra, and AirPods.

The aforementioned 45W output and its dynamic 45–60W power adjustment “intelligently” adapts to different devices. I charged my iPhone 17 Pro Max to 50% in just under 20 minutes. Conveniently, the charger can charged two devices at once thanks to its built-in retractable USB-C cable and one additional USB-C port.

What’s more, the Xtend Retractable Charger also boasts built-in temperature monitoring for safely charging your gadgets. Its retractable cable pulls out smoothly and retracts back into the compact brick with a quick tug.

The Xtend Retractable Charger costs around $43, which is higher than some rival retractable chargers. For example, Belkin has an 45W option that costs between $20-$26.).  I have tried that one, so I can’t attest to how they compare beyond price.

However, the Xtend Retractable Charger does all that’s expected of it at a reasonable price and practical form factor. It’s available in white, deep burgundy, and black.
