iPhone 17 Pro popularity predicted to help offset small decline in Apple Services’ growth

Evercore analysts predict that increased popularity of the iPhone 17 Pro models will more than cover a drop in Services growth.

Apple will announce its quarterly finances on Thursday. In a note shared with AppleInsider, Evercore analysts predict that increased popularity of the iPhone 17 Pro models will more than cover a drop in Services growth.

Key notes from the report:

° Apple will announce “sky-high” revenues.

° iPhone demand is high and skewed towards the higher-specification and more expensive models than usual, increasing the average selling price (ASP).

° iPhone revenues will be up 17% year-over-year from from the first quarter of 2025. That’s higher than the 11% increase from consensus speculation.

° An ongoing memory shortage will be minimal for Apple in the first and second quarters thanks to the use of long-term agreements with suppliers keeping prices low while maintaining its supply.

° Apple’s Services revenue will go up for the quarter by 13% year-over-year. However, that’s down from the 13.9% growth in the first quarter of 2025 due to a slight decline in App Store revenues.
