How to use Photographic styles in iOS 26

In iOS 26, Photographic Styles allow you to apply real-time, adjustable filters that affect the image's tone and color before you take the photo, rather than after. 

In iOS 26, Photographic Styles allow you to apply real-time, adjustable filters that affect the image’s tone and color before you take the photo, rather than after. 

How to Use Photographic Styles

° Open the Camera app.

° Tap the circle-with six-dots icon or swipe up from the camera modes at the bottom of the screen.

° Tap Styles, then swipe left or right to preview the available styles.

° To customize the style, do any of the following (depending on your iPhone model):

  1. Drag your finger on the black-square-with-grids to simultaneously adjust the tone and color.
  2. Drag the slider to control how strongly the style affects your photos.
  3. Drag the Tone and Warmth sliders to control how strongly the style affects your photos.
  4. Tap the return button to return to default values.
  1. Tap “X” to close the Style menu.

To reset or change the style you selected, follow the instructions above, then select Standard, or choose a different style.
