A unique blue finish will be the “main” color option of the all-new iPhone 17 Air, according to the leaker “Fixed Focus Digital” — as noted by MacRumors.
The post says the blue is highly likely to be the “main color” of the iPhone 17 Air. “Fixed Focus Digital” says the svelte smartphone’s blue finish is “different from all the blue colors released by Apple in the past,” being “very light,” and in low-light conditions, easily confused as white.
Fixed Focus Digital has also claimed that the regular iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air WON’T feature ProMotion displays.
The feature has been limited to the Pro models since it debuted on the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max in 2021. However, previous rumors have said that Apple will bring the tech to the base iPhone 17 model, as well as the new iPhone 17 Air that replaces the Plus model in the lineup.
Look for the new iPhones to arrive in September or October. As for ProMotion, it’s a display technology that allows for adaptive refresh rates on their devices, primarily the iPad Pro and some iPhone Pro models. This technology offers smoother scrolling, greater responsiveness, and enhanced motion content, especially when viewing high-frame-rate video.
Look for the iPhone Air to arrive in September or October. Other reports claim it will be the only model using Apple’s own “C1” modem with the other iPhone 17 models sticking with Qualcomm’s 5G modems.
