In a live-streamed Q&A session, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said Apple has no plans to reintroduce a smaller iPhone model. In other words, there’s no new iPhone mini in the works.
The last iPhone mini was the iPhone 13 mini, which was discontinued in September 2023. Currently, Apple doesn’t offer a smartphone with less than a six-inch screen.
The iPhone 13 mini had a 5.4-inch display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a pixel density of about 476 PPI. It contained an Apple-designed A15 Bionic chip, 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. Pricing started at US$699.
