How to Set Up and Customize

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Focus.
  3. Tap the Add (+) button or select Reduce Interruptions if it is listed.
  4. Tap People to choose specific contacts who are always allowed to break through.
  5. Tap Apps to choose specific apps allowed to send immediate alerts.
  6. Verify that Intelligent Breakthrough & Silencing is active to let the AI filter other important real-time alerts.

How to Turn It On and Off

  • Open the Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner of your screen.
  • Touch and hold Focus, then tap Reduce Interruptions to turn it on.
  • Choose to run it for one hour, until the evening or morning, or until you leave your current location.
  • Tap it again in the Control Center to turn it off.
