The first version isn’t even in Apple retail stores yet, but Apple is considering a slighter bigger version of the iPhone Fold, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says On a new episode of his Power On podcast.
The next version of the foldable — likely due in 2027 — might have an inner display about “roughly half an inch” larger than the one on the current model. Gurman has previously said that Apple is looking to return Face ID to next year’s version.
The current iPhone Duo has a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer display. Gurman thinks a bigger inner display might be somewhere in the 7.9-inch to 8.1-inch range.
The iPhone Duo is available in star white and night sky with prices starting at US $1,999 or $83.29 per month for 24 months, in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage capacities. However, depending on when you placed your order, you may not get one until January.
