SnapPocket Light is a nice accessory for folks who take lots of selfies with their iPhones

The US$39 ShiftCam SnapPocket Light is a handy accessory for folks who take lots of selfies with their iPhones.

The US$39 ShiftCam SnapPocket Light is a handy accessory for folks who take lots of selfies with their iPhones (a group that doesn’t include me).

It’s an easily transportable (as in pocket sized) ring light that allows you to brighten your content with hands-free LED lighting. This adjustable selfie light offers four brightness settings for enhancing.

The SnapPocket Light sports a flexible flippable hinge accommodates a variety of angles to keep you in the picture during live streams, vlogs, video calls. And positioned at the center of the LED ring is a mirror so you can check out your mug before taking a photo or making a video.

SnapLight’s magnetic mount attaches to your MagSafe iPhone or case. Included in the box is a magnetic sticker for use with other devices including a Mac laptop or iPad.

The ring light has a built-in rechargeable battery lasts for up to two hours. That’s not as much battery life as I’d expect, but it’s rechargeable via USB-C.

I’m not much of a selfie taker. But if you are and want the highest quality selfies possible, this accessory is worth a (no pun intended) look.
