MoFT’s Drift Lanyard Bag is a cool accessory that I’ll never use

MoFT’s Drift Lanyard Bag is a cool accessory that I’ll never use.

MoFT’s US$59.99 Drift Lanyard Bag is a cool accessory that I’ll never use. However, some folks might use it everyday.

It’s a “transformable” lanyard bag that’s designed to offer “hands-free convenience” for daily use and travel. It has strong metal clasps that seem very durable. An adjustable crossbody length allows folks to customize fit that’s best for them. A quick detachment mechanism enables easy switching between carry styles instantly.

The Drift Lanyard Bag is well designed. It’s made of a sturdy fabric strap with metal clasps. It’s compatible with most phone cases (non-silicone) using an adhesive patch.

Two anchors are included (a Metal Anchor and a Nylon Anchor), which fit most phone cases except those with a fully open bottom. To attach it to your phone, place the anchor between your phone and case, then clip the lanyard onto it.

The lanyard adjusts from 37.4 to 63 Inches and fits people 5’3” to 6’1”. If you’re shorter or want your iPhone to sit higher, detach the round cord. Taller users can still use it, and it will sit slightly above the waist.

The detachable 24.5–40.5cm dotted nylon cord detaches for use as a phone wrist strap, bag charm or neck lanyard, or to hang items like a water bottle, keys or an umbrella. The silver dots are reflective, adding visibility outdoors.

The zipper pocket holds small items like AirPods, and the included foldable bag stores inside it when not in use. Attach the bag to the lanyard to carry your phone, earphones, cards, tissues or glasses. However, you should keep the load under four pounds and avoid sharp objects, as the bag has no inner lining.

The standard load is eight pounds for the Metal Anchor, four pounds for the Nylon Anchor, and 22 pounds for the quick-release hook. Of course, no one is going to walk around with even four pounds hanging off of them.

You can machine wash the Drift Lanyard Bag. Just remove the round cord, put the lanyard in a laundry bag and wash below 40°C with regular detergent (no bleach). Air dry away from direct sunlight and wipe the metal parts dry to prevent rust. For the Misty Cove model, avoid rubbing vigorously to protect its surface treatment. (The Drift Lanyard Bag is available in Misty Cove, Blackberry, Sapphire hues.)

Personally, I just don’t like anything hanging around my neck and shoulders for any length of time.

So for me personally the Drift Lanyard Bag gets an Apple World Today rating (out of 5 stars) of ★★★.

If you don’t mind this, your Apple World Today rating (out of 5 stars) could well be ★★★★.
