Apple will release a new iPad Air, iPad Pro, and entry-level iPad in the first half of 2027, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says in his latest Power On newsletter.
He thinks the upcoming iPad Air will also feature an OLED screen like the iPad mini introduced on October 26. It’s also likely to get an M5 chip.
Gurman predicts the next iPad Pro will sport a vapor chamber system that dissipates heat for better sustained performance. He thinks it will be upgraded to the M6 processor.
Gurman thinks the entry-level iPad 12 will pack an A19 chip that enables Apple Intelligence support, an N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7 support, and Apple’s C1X modem in cellular models.
