Apple will release a second generation MacBook Neo in the first half of 2027, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman (a subscription is required to read the article).
The next model will likely be upgraded from the A18 Pro processor to the A19 chip, offering an estimated 10–15% CPU improvement and up to a 40% graphics (GPU) boost. Memory is expected to increase from 8GB to 12GB of unified memory.
The design should remain the same, though new options will likely be offered. The MacBook Neo 2 is expected to start around US$699 (matching the price bump the first-generation received in mid-2026, though some analysts warn a further rise to $799 is possible due to component costs)
