Ahead of its full release on October 23, Apple’s first-ever foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo with Apple’s A20 Pro chipset, has now appeared on Geekbench 7.
The foldable performs on par with the iPhone 18 Pro siblings, potentially making it the best-performing foldable phone ever made, reports Notebook Check.
From the report: The foldable earned a single-core score of 3,986 and a multi-core score of 11,067 on Geekbench 7—perhaps not on par with the most impressive iPhone 18 Pro series runs on the platform, but close to the median regardless.
That indicates that the iPhone Duo can be expected to perform similarly to its candybar siblings with the A20 Pro chipset. It also means Apple’s inaugural foldable launches as the most powerful foldable smartphone ever, with its closest rival at the moment being the Xiaomi 18 Fold, powered by Xiaomi’s self-developed Xring O3 chipset.
If you’re planning on getting an iPhone Duo, you better hurry to take advantage of the the “Get Ready” process starting today. You can find more info on the iPhone Duo product page.
Get Ready lets you choose a preferred color and capacity for the foldable iPhone, confirm your carrier status, choose accessories, choose an AppleCare+ plan, select a trade-in, add a payment method, and set a shipping and billing address.
