Marvel Unlimited service is shutting down, to be replaced by Marvel Comics powered by WEBTOON

Marvel Unlimited service is shutting down and will be replaced by Marvel Comics powered by WEBTOON.

Earlier today the Marvel Comics app Powered By WEBTOON was announced. With the launch of this new service from WEBTOON also comes the announcement that Marvel Unlimited will be shuttered on December 7.

Your Marvel Unlimited library can be fully transferred to the Marvel Comics Powered By WEBTOON app. This includes reading progress, redeemed/purchased titles, and your saved issues. Marvel says to “stay tuned to your inbox and in-app messages for more details on how to migrate your library by signing up with WEBTOON.”

You can take advantage of the founding member offer from WEBTOON to enjoy 40% off the Ultimate tier – which brings you new releases as soon as 30 days from print. Marvel Unlimited subscribers will be notified by email on how to make the transition.

Marvel Unlimited is an American online service owned by Marvel Comics that distributes their comic books via the internet. The service launched on November 13, 2007, and now has more than 30,000 comic book issues in its archive.
