Look for an OLED iPad mini this month.

An OLED iPad mini is due this month but an updated entry-level iPad won’t arrive until early next year, according to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter.

He said the former is expected to be “considerably more expensive.” How much more expensive? Around $799 compared to $599 for the current model.

The next entry-level iPad will likely sport an A19 chip and 8GB of memory, making it capable of running Apple Intelligence. The updated tablet is also expected to have a C1X modem with sub-6GHz 5G support, as well as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread thanks to the N1 networking chip.
