ESR’s Magnetic Charging Pad with Kickstand is a fine accessory — as long as you only need to charge one device.

The Magnetic Charging Pad with Kickstand is available in 15W standard MagSafe/Qi options (about $24) or faster 25W Qi2/CryoBoost models (about $44) equipped with active cooling fans to reduce heat and boost charging speeds. I tested the former, which works well with MagSafe-enabled iPhones (the iPhone 12 and later), including my iPhone 17 Pro Mac.

The integrated kickstand is handy and sturdy. The charging pad’s built-in metal stand lets you prop your iPhone at different angles for video calls, streaming, or gaming.

The Magnetic Charging Pod with Kickstand typically includes a USB-C cable of four to six feet, though you can buy a wall power adapter separately.

Its a compact, well-build charger as long as you only need to juice up one gadget. If you need to power up more than that, this ESR device isn’t for you.
