UGREEN’s US$149.99 MagFlow Pro 10000mAh Qi2 25W Magnetic Power Bank with Liquid Cooling is a useful wireless charging device that’s handy, but quite bulky.
It supports Qi2 magnetic wireless (and fast!) charging up to 25W. The built-in USB-C cable charges at 30W and doubles as a carry strap.
The MagFlow Pro has 10,000mAh capacity that provides nearly two full charges for iPhones to keep you powered on all through the day. It allows you to charge three items simultaneously: one wireless and two car USB-C.
You’ll need to charge it fully before the first use. Alas, it doesn’t come with a charger to plug into a power outlet. You’ll have to supply that yourself. (The folks at UGREEN recommend a charger of PD 30W or higher.)
That said, this is a good, but chunky (more on that in a sec) device for charging gadgets, especially iPhones, away from the house or office. The MagFlow Pro charger has a strong magnetic grip array that keeps it attached to your smartphone. It seems durable thanks to its impact-resistant build. And it has an easy-to-read battery indicator.
However, the MagFlow Pro is built like a brick. Literally. Its size will be off-putting for many folks. The squared edges can dig into your hands. Plus, the pre-installed wire is awkward when using wireless charging. Its large loop either rubs up against your left hand or sticks out of your right.
The MagFlow Pro is a convenient charging accessory. However, I find myself using it when I’m charging my iPhone and AirPods at the end of the day. I DON’T find myself using it attached to my iPhone when I’m moving about because of the heft.
