° From AppleInsider: Apple usually does a careful job of separating its products so that they each have distinct use cases, but Craig Federighi has now acknowledged that the iPhone Duo does overlap with the iPad mini.

° From 9to5Mac: iOS 27 code shows you may be able to replace Siri AI with Claude or ChatGPT.

° From The MacObserver: A new iPhone Duo display setting can create a wider black border so protective cases do not cover content near the folding edge.

° From Macworld: The new products look great, but Apple’s refusal to launch a budget watch or a phone that’s even remotely affordable felt rather tone-deaf.

° From Business Insider:  ex-Apple researchers want to make AI less awkward. Lightspeed, Accel, and Nvidia are giving them $50 million to do it.

° From MacVoices Live!: One the new episode, Joe Kissell discusses a new approach to Take Control Books’s coverage of Apple’s latest operating systems, including separate books for macOS Golden Gate, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, plus a cross-platform guide to Siri AI and Apple Intelligence.
