The 11-inch iPad Pro with WiFi and Cellular tops the list of best 9-inch and larger tablets with an overall score of 86 out of 100. The iPad mini with WiFi and 5G tops the list of 9-inch and smaller tablets with an overall score of 76 out of 100.
The Overall Score reflects CR’s lab test results. Performance rates the speed of actions and visual smoothness when running apps. Display covers color, viewing angle, brightness, and glare. Convenience rates the ease of interacting with the device and apps. Specific tasks reflects the ease of reading books, playing media, and using email and the web. Photo and video is based on color accuracy, visual noise, and video sound. Build + connectivity considers the construction and the presence of features such as ports.”
