The ‘iPhone Fold’ will probably cost you $2,100-$2,300

Apple’s foldable iPhone will probably cost around 10% more than Samsung's rival device, according to Weibo leaker "Instant Digital."

Apple’s foldable iPhone will probably cost around 10% more than Samsung’s rival device, according to Weibo leaker “Instant Digital” (as noted by MacRumors).

This means the “iPhone Fold” will set buyers back about US$2,100 and $2,300. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 starts at $1,899.99, while the Galaxy Z Flip6 starts at $1,219.99.

Personally, I won’t fork out $2,100+ for a foldable phone. But if you will, here’s what the rumor mill says about the “iPhone Fold,” which is expected to arrive in late 2026:

° It’s unlikely to include TrueDepth components that make up Face ID.

° The inner display will be approximately 7.76 inches with a resolution of will use a 2,713 x 1,920 resolution and feature “under-screen camera technology.”

° The outer display will purportedly be 5.49 inches with 2,088 x 1,422 resolution and will have a punch-hole camera.

° Touch ID returns as a side button.

° The rear camera features a dual-lens setup, with one front-facing camera available in both folded and unfolded states.

° It will measure 9–9.5mm thick when folded and 4.5–4.8mm when unfolded.

° The hinge will combine stainless steel and titanium alloy, while the casing opts for titanium alloy.

° It will use the same high-density battery cells as the ultra-thin iPhone 17.
