Apple Visual Intelligence is a feature on newer iPhones, iPads, and Macs that uses the camera to identify and provide information about objects, text, and places around you.

It allows you to quickly access details like translations, summaries, or even contact information simply by pointing your phone at something; essentially acting as a real-time visual search tool powered by AI.

To use Visual Intelligence on an iPhone 16, you can click and hold the Camera Control button and point the camera at an object or place.

Visual Intelligence is available in iOS 18.2 or later. To use it, do the following:

° Click and hold the Camera Control button.

° Point the camera at an object or place.

° To search Google for similar images, tap the magnifying glass icon.

° To get information about a business, tap the name of the business at the top of the screen.

° To get a summary of text, tap Summarize.

° To have text read aloud, tap Read Aloud

You can also use Visual Intelligence to identify plants and animals, and to look up details about restaurants and businesses.

To use Visual Intelligence on an iPhone 16e, you can customize the Action button or Lock Screen, or open Control Center.
