How to use the Personalized Smart Stack in watchOS 11

The Smart Stack in watchOS 11 is designed to help users quickly access important information from any watch face, and now uses intelligence to add and suggest widgets based on time, date, location, daily routines, and more, so it is even simpler to access features on Apple Watch when a user needs them.

To use the Personalized Smart Stack in watchOS 11, you can:

° Open the Smart Stack. Scroll down from the watch face with the Digital Crown or swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

° Add, remove, or rearrange widgets.

° Add a widget: Tap +, then tap a featured widget or tap an app that appears below All Apps.

° Remove a widget: Tap.

° Pin and unpin widgets: Tap on the right side of the widget.

° See Live Activities. Live Activities from your iOS app will automatically appear in the Smart Stack.

° Choose a relevant context. The system uses RelevantContext to suggest your widget and determine its priority among other widgets.

° Quickly access Music, Workouts, or Messages. Scroll to the bottom of the Smart Stack.

You can also edit widgets on an iPhone by:

° Going to the Home Screen.

° Touching and holding a widget to open the quick actions menu.

° Tapping Edit Widget (or Edit Stack, if it’s a Smart Stack).

° Choosing options.

(This how-to is based on my experiences and info on Apple’s support pages.)
