The scariest thing about yesterday’s ‘Scary Fast’ event was no change to the Magic Mouse

The scariest thing about yesterday’s “Scary Fast” Mac event is that there was no update to Magic Mouse.

The scariest thing about yesterday’s “Scary Fast” Mac event is that there was no update to the Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, and, especially, the Magic Mouse.

In a September Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman predicted that Apple will update the Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard will arrive alongside the next iMac. He said they’ll move from Lightning ports for charging to USB-C.

That’s didn’t happen, which is disappointing. Even more disappointing is the fact that the charging port on the Magic Mouse is still on the bottom of the device. This is a ridiculous place for the charging port, so you can’t charge the mouse while using it.

So, c’mon Apple, fix this. After all, isn’t design supposed to be one of the company’s strong points?
