The Morning Show’s Billy Crudup wins Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series

Billy Crudup won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in The Morning Show, one of Apple’s dramas on its Apple TV+ streaming service. It was the only award out of 18 nominations for the tech giant at the 2020 Primetime Emmy Awards.

He also won Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the Critics Choice Awards. The Morning Show is a drama about a morning news show starring Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Anniston, and Steve Carell, as well as Crudup. It’s described as “an inside look at the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning, exploring the unique challenges faced by the women and men who carry out this daily televised ritual.”
