The MagEasy Odyssey is a durable iPhone 15 case with an adjustable lanyard

The US$49.99 MagEasy Odyssey isn’t the toughest case I’ve tested for my iPhone 15 Pro Max — that would be the UAG Monarch Kevlar— but it’s darn tough.

The US$49.99 MagEasy Odyssey isn’t the toughest case I’ve tested for my iPhone 15 Pro Max — that would be the UAG Monarch Kevlar— but it’s darn tough. And it’s $40 less expensive than the UAG case.

It’s build with a polycarbonate backplate, reinforced corners with 2mm of protective material, and a honeycomb shock-absorbing frame that is, according to the folks at MagEasy, made of aviation quality alloy. The corners are designed 0.3mm higher than the camera and 0.5mm higher than the screen. All these features means the Odyssey is built to protect your iPhone from a 16-foot drop.

The Odyssey — which is clear, so the design of your Apple smartphone is on display — has a surface texture.

The bottom corners come with “Reinforced Eyelets” so you can attach the included lanyard. I prefer to stow my in-case iPhone in a holster on my belt, so I don’t have use for a lanyard, but your needs may different.

The Odyssey is compatible with MagSafe, the proprietary, magnetically attached wireless power transfer and accessory-attachment standard developed by Apple for its iPhones.

All these features, plus the adjustable lanyard feature (for those who need one) make the Odyssey great for, say, a number of outdoor and outdoor scenarios where you want your pricey iPhone to be as well protected as possible.

Apple World Today rating (out of 5 stars): ★★★★

If you like the MagEasy Odyssey, you may wish to equip it with such accessories as the $25.99 SNAP MagSafe Stand Wallet and/or the $19.99 Magnetic Wall Mount.
