Imagine James Bond using an iPhone and wearing an Apple Watch. Hey, it could happen. Apple and Amazon are among those vying for the rights to the legendary spy’s franchise, as Sony’s rights expired after 2015’s Spectre film, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

According to Counterpoint Research, Samsung held on to at least 20% of the global smartphone market in June and July, while Huawei and Apple had about half that market share, though the China-based company was slightly ahead of the iPhone maker.

Apple has confirmed to Music Business Daily that it will no longer be hosting the annual Apple Music Festival at London’s Roundhouse.

Apple has updated its $350 Beats Studio 3 Wireless headphones, adding a W1 chip for simple pairing, as well as more advanced noise cancelation technology. They’re now available to preorder from Apple, and ship in mid-October. 

Apple has made a deal for songs from Warner Music Group (WMG), the company’s first agreement with a major label since introducing its on-demand music service two years ago, reports Bloomberg, quoting unnamed “people familiar with the matter.”

Apple has announced that iTunes U collections are moving from iTunes U to the Podcasts app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV, or the Podcasts section of iTunes on your Mac or PC.
