T-Mobile’s 5G Phone Upgrade includes Apple’s iPhone 12 line-up

The launch of the iPhone 12 series, the first 5G-capable Apple smartphone, significantly accelerated 5G adoption, according to Counterpoint Research.

T-Mobile has unveiled its latest Un-carrier move, a set of initiatives “that mark the beginning of the #5GforAll era.”

The 5G Phone Upgrade  includes a free 5G smartphone. And iPhone lovers can get in on the fun, too. Here’s how it breaks down:

  • Get iPhone 12 on T-Mobile— for free — with the trade-in of iPhone 11.
  • Get half off iPhone 12 with the trade-in of most older iPhone models — iPhone 7 through 10.
  • Get half off iPhone 12 mini with trade-in of ANY older iPhone— all the way back to the original.

You can do all this via 24 monthly bill credits. The trade-in must be paid off and in working condition. No add-a-line or port in required. This offer is only available through May 1.
