Rumor: next gen iPhone SE will sport a dynamic island

No, Apple won’t merge the iPhone 16 line-up with an iPhone SE.

Take this one with a (big) grain of salt: according to a tweet by Apple leaker MajinBuOfficial the next gen iPhone SE could have a design very similar to that of the current iPhone 16 still in development.

“The new iPhone SE will most likely have a single camera instead of the double one of the iPhone 16 models, otherwise it seems that the dynamic island is confirmed, and the dimensions are similar to those of an iPhone XR,” according to the tweet.

The Sellers Research Group (that’s me) says this won’t happen. In fact, I’m doubtful that we’ll see a next generation iPhone SE.

As far as a future iteration of the iPhone goes, last August a leaker known as “Unknownz21“ claims a fourth-generation iPhone SE will have an iPhone 15 Pro-style Action Button. He said that it will also likely sport a USB-C port.
