Rumor: Apple working on a foldable iPhone prototype

Apple leaker Jon Prosser tweets that Apple is working on a foldable iPhone (at least a prototype) that has two separate display panels on a hinge.

He adds that it has round, stainless steel edges like current iPhone 11 design but no notch. A “tiny forehead” on the outer display houses Face ID.

Apple has been granted dozens of patents for foldable iPhones (and iPads). However, I’m dubious that such a smartphone or tablet will ever be released. Teh Sellers Research Group (that’s me) doesn’t see much of a demand for such a product.
