Notable apps and app updates for Oct. 13, 2016

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

iOS Apps/Updates

Just in time for Halloween, Top Cool Fun Games has unleashed Creeps and Bounds. It’s a free endless jumping game in which players can select from several different creepy characters to jump and bound over an onslaught of challenges. You survive by timing jumps over various obstacles. Pickup stars to unlock more characters and new difficulty levels. Its perfect for fans of casual isometric jumping games.

macOS Apps/Updates

Reggie Ashworth has announced AppDelete 4.3, an update to his application deletion utility for macOS. Via drag and drop, it will uninstall anything along with all of the associated items. Version 4.3 has been optimized for macOS Sierra and boasts an user interface refresh.

AppDelete 4.3 requires macOS 10.7 or higher. It costs $7.99 for a single-user license. Upgrades from version 2.x and 3.x are $3.99. A demo is available at the product website.
