News round-up: ‘Amazing Stories’ trailer, Apple Music Replay, more

Since Steve and I can’t cover everything, we’ll frequently offer a wrap-up news items you should check out.

Apple has posted the first trailer for Amazing Stories on its YouTube channel. Executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the anthology series is a reimagining of the original 1980s series of the same name. 

As noted by AppleInsider, Apple Music’s Replay service has been updated to create a 2020 Replay list.

Business Insider reports that Warren Buffet as sold more than $800 million in Apple stock last quarter, new SEC filings show. The Berkshire Hathaway CEO is Apple’s biggest shareholder with a 5.4% stake worth $72 billion.

A company called Neodron is suing Apple, alleging the tech giant infringes on its patents for capacitive keyboards and sensors such as those used in the iPhone 11 and third-generation iPad Pro.

Apple’s senior vice president for artificial intelligence, John Giannandrea, is among Silicon Valley execs traveling to London to meet with officials like Margrethe Vestager, the executive vice president of the European Commission (EU), reports The New York Times. Why? EU lawmakers are debating a new digital policy, including first-of-its-kind rules on the ways that artificial intelligence can be used by companies.
