News items you should check out: April 26

Since I can’t cover everything, here are some recommended articles you should check out:

° From MacRumors: Yesterday Apple sent an email to some iPhone Upgrade Program members to inform them that their previously-completed iPhone trade-in has been “canceled,” but the email was almost certainly sent in error based on the circumstances.

° From iMore: The team behind App Store hit Clash of Clans has canceled ten games before launch, now it’s finally ready to launch its next major title.

° From AppleInsider: In an entirely expected move, the Federal Communications Commission has voted to reinstate net neutrality protections in the United States.

° From 9to5Mac: Spotify says Apple has “defied” the EU by blocking latest update with pricing info.

° From Macworld: Apple needs to become a software company again.

° From Cult of Mac: WhatsApp is making it easier to log into your account on your iPhone with passkey support. The feature will allow you to verify your identity through Face ID, Touch ID, or device PIN.
