More Sony TV execs now calling Apple ‘home’

Kim Rozenfeld (pictured), former Sony TV head of current programming, has moved to Apple, rejoining his former Sony TV bosses Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht, who were named in June to oversee worldwide video programming, reports Deadline Hollywood

Also joining the team of the newly launched video programming division are Sony TV development executives, Max Aronson, who was vice president of Drama Development, and Ali Woodruff, director of Creative Affairs, as well as WGN America’s former head of PR, Rita Cooper Lee.

Deadline Hollywood says Rozenfeld is expected to oversee current programming once the service gets its original slate up and running, as well as the development of docu series. He also will likely have a hand in scripted series development, spearheaded by former WGN America and Tribune Studios president Matt Cherniss, who recently came on board.

At Sony, Rozenfeld produced scripted one-hour and half-hour genres as well as alternative/reality genres. Credits include the scripted series “Huge”, “Two Guys, A Girl And A Pizza Place” and “Dinosaurs” as well as such alt/reality projects “Bands Reunited”, “Rock The House”, “Breaking Bonaduce” and the emmy award winning “American High,” as well as others.
