Kodak introduces new digital camera, printer, iOS compatible app

Kodak and C+A Global have teamed up for the KODAK SMILE Instant Print Digital Camera and the KODAK SMILE Instant Digital Printer.

The 10 mega-pixel KODAK SMILE Instant Print Digital Camera (pictured) combines the nostalgia of instant analog photography with ZINK Zero Ink Printing Technology. Equipped with a slide-open design and LCD viewfinder, it allows you to point, shoot and print 2”x3” ZINK adhesive-backed photos.

The camera comes with a 10-second timer, automatic flash and a MicroSD card slot. With the built-in preview feature, photos can be reviewed and edited with filters and borders or transformed into a collage before printing for more fun and customization. The KODAK SMILE Instant Print Digital Camera is now available for $99.99 on Amazon.com.

The KODAK SMILE Instant Digital Printer allows you to load 2”x3” adhesive-backed ZINK photo paper with a quick slide insert. Photos can be sent to the printer via a Bluetooth connection using the free companion app, compatible with iOS and Android devices, Pictures can be edited and decorated right within the app, then printed or shared on social media. The KODAK SMILE Instant Digital Printer is now available for $99.99 on Amazon.com.

The app — available at the Apple App Store — features augmented reality capabilities. Users can attach any video from their media library, including sound, up to 30 seconds. Once the photo is printed using the SMILE Instant Digital Printer, anyone with the app can view the corresponding video by holding the smartphone over the picture.
