Here we go again: another projected launch date for ‘Apple Glasses’

Here’s the latest rumored release date for “Apple Glasses,” an augmented reality glasses from Apple: DigiTimes says (a subscription is required to read the article), they’ll launch in 2021, with “small-volume” production expected to start in the first half of the year.

Here’s the assorted info from the rumor mill: Apple Glasses will be a head-mounted display. Or it will look like regular glasses. It will arrive in 2021or 2022, It must be tethered to an iPhone to work. Unless it doesn’t.

Other rumors say that Apple Glasses could have a custom-build Apple chip and a dedicated operating system dubbed “rOS” for “reality operating system.”
