Don’t look for the Apple Vision Pro until March 2024 at the earliest

No, the Apple Vision Pro won’t replace the iPad (or any other Apple device).

In the latest version of his “Power On” newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says not to expect the Apple Vision Pro until around March 2024.

The US$3,499 (and higher) Spatial Computer is, in Apple’s words, due in “early 2024.” Apparently, early means spring even though I think there’s a chance it might now arrive until April or May. Whenever it arrives, it apparently will only be available in limited quantities at first.

Apple Vision Pro will launch in the U.S. first. Apple is expected to sell the device by appointment only in Apple retail stores.

This info from Gurman is from the free edition of “Power On”. If you like it, consider subscribing to Bloomberg.com—you’ll receive the newsletter earlier and get exclusive access to a Q&A section.
