Denver, Colorado gets Apple Maps transit directions

Here’s a great way for folks in the Mile High City of Denver, CO to start the day — Apple Maps now provides transit directions, complete with departure times, multi-modal transfers, and connecting walks, for the Regional Transportation District’s 2,340-square-mile (6,100 square km.) area.

The transit directions work in both the iOS and OS X versions of Maps. The addition of Denver to Maps transit directions is part of a continual expansion of coverage during 2016. Recently, the company added coverage for Atlanta, Miami, Montreal, Rio de Janeiro, the Australian state of New South Wales, and regions that receive service by the U.K.’s National Rail.
