macOS
Maxon has announced the availability of Cinema 4D Release 23 (R23). The next generation of Maxon’s professional 3D software delivers enhancements to its animation and UV workflows, character animation toolset, and the inclusion of Magic Bullet Looks technology.
The introduction of the new Scene Nodes system provides a preview of the performance customers can expect in future developments of Cinema 4D. The folks at Maxon say plugin developers will appreciate the update to Python 3, and creative pipelines will benefit from the inclusion of USD import/export and updates to FBX and OBJ handling.

Ben Software has released SecuritySpy 5.2.5, an update to the multi-camera video surveillance software for the Mac.
It offers smart motion detection powered by AI, flexible recording features, remote monitoring, and more. It’s designed for all CCTV applications, from professional to home. Version 5.2.5 adds the ability of advanced search of captured footage for events such as the movement of humans and vehicles.
Pricing depends on the number of cameras used, ranging from US$40 for a single-camera license to $$890) for an unlimited-camera license. SecuritySpy 5.2.5 requires macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later.
DigiDNA has posted iMazing 2.12 for macOS and Windows, an update to the iOS device management app.
Version 2.12 gives business users access to advanced iPhone, iPad and iPod configuration features, allowing them to lock a device to a point-of-sale app, enforce web content filtering, or even block the Camera or the Messages app. For the first time, local configuration of Apple mobile devices can be done from a Windows computer as well as a Mac.
iMazing 2.12 is available at the iMazing website. Backing up and browsing data is entirely free. Premium features require the purchase of a license. iOS
Feral Interactive’s Company of Heroes is now available for iPhone at the Apple App Store. A new trailer has also been revealed to mark the game’s deployment onto mobile devices.
Company of Heroes is officially supported on all iPhones released since the iPhone 6S. It costs US$13.99, though players that already own the game on iPad can install the iPhone version for free.
